DEP Discharge confirmation?

I was just discharged from the Marine Corps DEP. I can understand that this must be very frustrating for my old recruiter. None the less I am trying to join a different branch. He has kind of been jerking me around since my request for discharge. He said they no longer send discharge letters. Does anyone know how I go about getting a confirmation of my discharge so that my new recruiter can start paperwork moving to get me shipped out?
