Why is it that Islam seems so much like fundamentalist Christianity?

Bent on domination? What country or nation of people does Christianity rule over or oppress? What government is controlled by strictly Christian leaders? How many violent atrocities can be attributed to Christian sects in the last several hundred years? What sector of belief systems is the single most benevolent relief provider on the planet? What militarization of Christians has taken place ever in the history of any modern society ever? Yet there are atheist countries that have contributed to the deaths of millions of people of faith, suppressed, starved and opressed billions more. So what is more ludicris...who is more bent on domination of the world? Perhaps you might want to rethink your concepts a little more before so blantantly sucker punching yourself with your bias.
