System 9 Internet connectivity issues.?

I installed 9.0 on my system (8600/250 powerpc) Yes, I know it's old, but the former user had Internet access with no problems and used 8.6. I can get onto yahoo, but it won't let me access my yahoo mail. It comes up with "The identity certificate uses an unknown signature algorithm." What should I change in my settings?
