I need to know about kangaroo rats?

kangaroo rats are not good pets, they are wild animals and should be left in the wild. would you like it if someone kept you in an enclosure? i realise he was trying to be nice and help animals but keeping it as a pet is really not in its best interest. the best thing to do would be try to find some kind of animal wildlife place that would take it!
