Back-To-School Hairstyles!!?

OK, so school starts in a bit and i'm a fab fashionista and i've got clothes and style down pact. but i have no idea what to do with my hair!!!! (i've been playing with curling irons all week trying to gt big bouncy loose y soft curls and i absolutely cannot get ti right!!!! so if anyone has tips on that look, i'm all ears!!! also, i love the way selena gomez's hair looks on the august/september cover of Girls Life Magazine! i would llove to get my hair like that!!) i'm african-american, my hair is relaxed, and its about shoulder length.(maybe 2 inches longer) I'm 13 going to the 8th grade, and i know my outfit is going to look great, but the look is not complete without the hair!!! any tips on hot styles for school?(i need step-by-step instructions please) any care tips for african-american hair??? any product advice or recomendations??? all answers are appreciated!!!
